Under threat from the authorities to stop preaching in the name of Jesus Christ, the Apostles exclaimed “we ought to obey God rather than men”. Each of us would like to think we would have the courage to say the same. But what about more practical matters? What about the every day stuff? If no one is threatening us, are we more likely to ‘obey men’ and conform to the pressures of society so we’ll fit in? We ought to STILL obey God!
