Our belief in and expectation of the resurrection should be a guiding force in our lives. Paul wanted to know the power of the resurrection, and he wanted to experience that power in his Christian walk. Think about it. As children of God, we have been bought with the blood of Jesus Christ. We have something within us that has been created in Christ Jesus in righteousness and true holiness, and it is fit and ready to go to Heaven. But even our very bodies have been redeemed! And the same power that brought Christ up from the grave brought you out of a death in sin and made you alive. That power continues to work in your life even now, and that same Spirit shall bring you up from the dust of the earth some sweet day to become incorruptible and immortal. Let us live like it now!
