Standing fast in the faith goes far beyond defending “doctrine”. It begins with being grounded in those foundational principles but it hits home, literally, in our everyday experiences. Satan is a cunning, master deceiver and he will attempt to destroy us; often attacking the relationships within our family and within the church.

As children of God, we can expect to endure suffering in this life. In Romans 8, verses 15-17, Paul takes us from having received the Spirit of Adoption, to having the witness within as children of God, to being joint-heirs with Christ, to suffering with him, to being glorified together with him.
